Here is information that we should worry about from a new study by the U.S. Geological survey and written about in ScienceDaily. More than 20% of untreated water samples from 932 public wells around the country contain at least one contaminant dangerous to human health. In some instances, the contaminants included radon and arsenic but also gasoline chemicals, herbicides, insecticides and dolvents. The study did not assess pharmaceuticals or hormones.
