1910 Haley’s Comet Prediction

What was predicted: Halley’s Comet was due to cross Earth’s path in 1910, but it wasn’t just the usual panic which accompanies the appearance of fire in the sky that had people worried. The comet’s tail contained cyanogen, a highly toxic substance, and according to scientists Earth was due to travel straight through it.
