GENETIC ZOO TO PRESERVE ANIMAL DNA FOR THE FUTURE

70 international researchers participating in “Genome 10K”, are collecting the DNA from over 10,000 animal species worlwide. The work is for the purpose of preserving threatened species and to gain a better idea of the genetic heritage of each species.
