watched four belugas for a few hours saturday, what was most remarkable is that they have articulated necks and can turn their heads. took every opportunity to educate the people there about whale hunting and the many nations responsible. Nobody seems to be informing the general public about the true threats to the sea. I was sure they were coming to kick me out when more people were listening to me than the robot humans talking about how happy they were in captivity. There were no smiling whales in that tank. Georgia aquarium has crowded tanks and little enrichment, one “toy” in the whale tank, too much noise for the otters.

Get a grip, people. Can you not see the hypocricy in blaming Japan and Denmark on dolphin hunts when Beluga whales are hunted not by them, but by Americans?

I agree, we need to stop hunting these amazing mammals. There has been so many cases of dolphins savings humans in distress, but still they get killed every year by greedy hunters in Japan and Denmark (probably more places). There is no law to save them. We need to introduce an international law to save and help dolphins/whales etc..
THey need our help!!

SEE HOW INTENSIVE AND COMPASIONED ARE THOSE CREATURES , AND WHY THEY KILL THEM , SO WE SEE AGAIN WE ARE NOT THE ONLYONES WITH BRAINS ON THE PLANET .
WE NEED TO INVESTIGATE THESE CREATURES MORE TO LEARN HOW THEY THINK AND WHAT THEY FEEL .
